Heel Reconstruction with Microsurgery
A patient who lost his heel in a traffic accident underwent a life-changing reconstructive surgery using advanced microsurgical techniques. During the operation, a tissue flap was taken from the patient’s leg along with its blood vessels and transplanted to the heel area. This delicate microsurgical procedure restored blood circulation and enabled functional recovery of the foot.
